SNS Bank is the fourth largest bank in the Netherlands, active in the Dutch retail market with a focus on mortgages, savings and payments. “Banking with a human dimension” is what SNS Bank NV stands for. A people-oriented, social and sustainable way to meet the specific financial needs of its customers.

To do this, the bank holds, five powerful and distinctive brands, close to the customer: ASN Bank, BLG Wonen Regions Bank, SNS Bank and Zwitserleven. Together, these brands serve more than 2.8 million customers.

The challenge

SNS Bank NV approached Youwe for the realization of a new corporate website. This is in line with the renewed positioning of the bank: Banking with a human dimension. The concept had to take into account the interests of internal and external stakeholders and must meet the new ambition that defines the bank’s mission and strategy.

All of this together with the dot on the horizon represented by an online platform where SNS Bank NV and its underlying brands can be in the spotlight. Both in look, feel, and functions. To be developed in accordance with extensive IT guidelines and secured with the mission-critical hosting infrastructure that carries the corporate organization.

The result

Not the website of tomorrow, but of the day after tomorrow. A future-proof and scalable digital platform was delivered to SNS Bank NV as an online starting point for the new brand strategy.

On the one hand optimally adapted to the interests of the different departments of SNS Bank, and on the other founded on an innovative content management framework which grows with the organization and its business processes.

From a traditional corporate website to an innovative online presence on all devices, resulting in a pacesetting user journey for the banking world. All this packed into a distinctive look and feel that does what it is supposed to: reach, raise interest and inform the key user groups.
