The studies are focused on gaining knowledge but above all on learning to apply this knowledge in practice. HAS University of Applied Sciences focuses on the transition of knowledge between education and the market. HAS University of Applied Sciences regularly facilitates collaboration between the project-lead education and market players.

The challenge

HAS College was using an outdated Flash website. This caused problems in browsers that do not support Flash, but also on mobile devices. Content management was difficult and was named by the editors as very cumbersome. HAS University of Applied Sciences was looking for a new and future-proof website. A portal for students, companies and other stakeholders.

HAS University of Applied Sciences had multiple websites in different languages. All housed in different systems. This resulted in high costs for maintenance and hosting, as well as a lot of editorial work.
Since not all websites could be renewed at the same time, there was a need for a phased approach. All stakeholders were involved. Each with their own needs, requirements and priorities. HAS University of Applied Sciences worked with an external design agency providing the graphic design. This party was given a role in the project, at the right time so that they could deliver the desired input. HAS University of Applied Sciences was really looking for a partner that could lead it in the right direction.

HAS University of Applied Sciences in recent years has grown 15 to 20% per year. The process of requesting information, register for Open Days and the actual registration is greatly improved. This enables the HAS University of Applied Sciences not only to save money on information, but also on the entire staffing that cares for the ongoing processes.
The interaction with current students is greatly improved integration with various social media. As a result HAS University of Applied Sciences has increased conversion in terms of placements and registrations.
